Floral design that ignites the senses.

        OUR STORY

My love for nature began as a little girl - filled with wonder as I explored my grandparent’s garden. I would wander, surrounded by an abundance of avocados, mangoes, oranges, & sugar cane. Each visit was a sensory experience; the vibrant colors, scents, and tastes captivated me. I vividly remember the joy on my grandfather's face as he plucked a blood orange right off of a tree and handed it to my sister and I… the juice dripping down our faces as we savored every bite.

My family's connection to nature stretches far beyond my memory. My great grandparents were first-generation, Mexican-Americans, who cultivated their own food with a profound appreciation for the earth's bountiful gifts.

At Casa V (casa verde), we share that same sentiment. Everything we create is crafted with the utmost care, respect, and curiosity for the natural world.

Inspired by the limitless beauty of memory, we embrace the philosophy that time is temporary, but memory knows no bounds. Through our work we inspire others to connect with nature, ignite their senses, and create unforgettable memories.

We create unconventional botanical designs that tell the story of each season as it unfolds.

We have a “local first” approach to sourcing flowers, therefore, much of the foliage in our designs is grown by skilled, local farmers who take great pride in their work. It is these relationships that allow us to source the best possible material for the design, while eliminating waste and keeping the impact to our planet as minimal as possible.

Because of our commitment to sustainable practices, we proudly refrain from using floral foam. Instead, we actively work to invent functional and durable mechanics for each design. We reuse and recycle from previous designs as much as possible, ensuring we honor both nature and our planet. Material that is not able to be recycled, such as flowers and foliage, is dried and reused or composted.

Through our practice, we aim to replicate the cycles of the earth such as growth (farming), death (harvesting), and rebirth (design) with the vision to live in symbiosis with our planet.
